Schirmer's groundbreaking and informative edition from 1894 (reissued in 1934) of Chopin's Complete Impromptus (4) edited by Carl Mikuli (1819-1897), which includes the beloved Fantaisie Impromptu, Op. 66. Mikuli, a student and teaching assistant of Chopin, knew Chopin's playing style intimitely, which is why his editions are often regarded by scholars as the finest authoritative editions available today.
